Belissa Colombian-style powdered tea is based on a single-leaf variety. We use Yungas leaves to create a sweeter flavor in the final product. This product is bright green, it does not contain the dark ashes of the traditional YPA ( El Gringo).

Andean Leaves have been slowly roasted and we do not ferment them for alkaloids extraction, they go to a extra dehydration process that can take 2-3 days and the final product gets milled in a super fine -smooth powder, light to the touch and almost velvety. It contains ash-yarumo from the cecropia tree (Cecropia sciadophylla or Cecropia peltata) which gives a smooth lemony and sweet flavor and other potent ingredients that provide electrolytes to the mix to make it easier to absorb and enjoy. This tea contains 90% of Andean leaves, 2% Yarumo, and 8% of activators and alkaloids from the herbs which remain as trade secrets. No chemicals, preservatives or artificial products used on any step of the preparation.

Our Colombian Style powdered tea, has been developed in Boston – MA and took over two years to create the perfect blend and test the product to obtain a slightly sweet, smooth and bright green product.
